ContrastRadar is a macOS application that recognizes text in images and estimates text contrast. OCR, color sampling, and contrast calculations are performed on-device.

Data collection

ContrastRadar does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or user accounts.

Images and analysis results

Images selected or dropped into the app are processed locally. They are not uploaded to the developer or a third-party server for analysis. Recognized text, color estimates, and contrast results remain on the current device.

File access and reports

The app accesses only images and export locations selected by the user. When export is requested, PDF and CSV reports are written to the local folder the user chooses.

Third-party services

Text recognition uses Apple Vision provided by macOS. Apple processes the optional, one-time ContrastRadar Pro purchase through StoreKit and may handle purchase information under its own policies. The app includes no other analytics or advertising SDKs.
